Service and Maintenance

At B&K Security Solutions, all of our quality products come with the relevant manufacturers’ warranties as well as a 12 month installation warranty. However, we recommend that all security equipment is regularly serviced, at least every six months, to ensure optimal operation and to meet the terms of the warranty.

Humidity, cockroaches and geckos can cause shorts on circuit boards and regular servicing can minimise these risks. Another reoccurring issue is power surges which can destroy hard drives. Power surge protection is always recommended because damage, as a result of a power surge is, unfortunately, not covered under warranty.
